WHO WE ARE

Sri Sri Institute for Advanced Research was founded in 1981 under the aegis of the Art of Living.  Our objective is to encourage research & innovation in the field of Global Ancient Knowledge Systems, including Yoga, Meditation & other Holistic Practices. Through collaborative research and independent studies, we wish to establish the Global Ancient Knowledge on a scientific pedestal.

Our Vision : 

To emerge as the research and innovation hub for undertaking advanced research in Global Ancient Knowledge Systems including the areas of Yoga, Pranayama, Meditation, Ayurveda and other Vedic Sciences for societal transformation and sustainable development of humanity.


Our Mission : 

To place the Global Ancient Knowledge Systems on a scientific pedestal through quality research, dissemination of this knowledge across the globe and contribute to a healthy, happy and harmonious society.

Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, the founder of the Art of Living is a humanitarian and spiritual leader, an ambassador of peace and human values. Through techniques taught by the Art of Living, millions around the world have experienced physical and mental health benefits. He is at the forefront of reviving and propagating holistic health practices and ancient knowledge.
